From biomass to functional materials.
I am a PhD candidate in Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with an expected graduation in December 2026. My research connects cellulose and lignin processing, materials chemistry, and device applications.
I am interested in academic research and teaching opportunities, including postdoctoral and faculty positions. My work spans functional cellulose materials, triboelectric nanogenerators, nitrogen-functionalized lignin, and biorefining.

Teaching and mentoring. Teaching Assistant for Biorefining: Energy and Products from Renewable Resources (BSE 460) in Spring 2023. Research mentor to undergraduate and graduate students.
